The PMO on Hope
Monday, July 28, 2003

This just in from the Prime Minister's office, and, well, it says it for me too:

"Bob Hope was an entertainer of the highest calibre. A gifted radio, television and film actor, Mr. Hope made it his mission to perform for military personnel on active duty. Especially during World War II and the Korean War, his comedy routines brightened the lives of young Canadians serving in our armed forces overseas. Bob Hope was a generous man, a unique talent, and a kind soul. He will be missed." -- Jean and Aline Chrétien
