The tourist season has all but wound to hibernation out on our beach, and for those tourism operators who are recovered enough to be reading blogs, here's a resort attraction idea you don't see every day, by way of blog-oddity collector Geisha (who also tips us to the duct-tape bikini contest and draw a girl) we take a guided tour of the completely submerged Red Sea Star Restaurant, complete with construction tips for those who might want to do their own.

Amazing what you can do when you attract tourists with coins in their pockets, eh?

I don't know if it will have the swank of this one, but we did have plans afoot to create an underwater interpretive centre at Fathom Five, but if there's any news on it's progress, the Parks Canada website isn't going to tell.
