Poor May. Still a bit in shock over her first ever experience of finding herself in the second-hand records bin down at Randy's Records and Tapes in Owen Sound.
Randy's not yet sure what he wants for it; it's a pristine copy of her long out-of-print Very Personal complete with the biodegradeable sleeve in the recycled cardboard folder and personally autographed by May.
Personally, speaking as one who hasn't been there, I'm still itchin' for that day when I find myself in the remaindered book bins (I thought for sure I'd find a copy of one of the Unleashed's!). Maybe it comes from all my years in the record store business back in Opus 69 days, but if you ask me, there's something about showing up in the used record shops and delete bins, more than just saying you'd been there and done it, that someone preserved it and offered it to a new audience, there something satisfyingly full-circle completeness about it.
