The Perfect End to Summer
Monday, September 2, 2002

It's hard to imagine a more perfect weekend.near the powwow grounds at the Cape Deep in the Ojibway woods of Neyaashiinigmiing, about a dozen tents and trailers, a few friends just out for the day, a few wandered over from seasonal camping, and who knows how many guitars, banjos, fiddles, cellos, dulcimers and kids. Welcome to Fred & Donna FestIsaac and Kiera jammin the Bach before dinner, our annual reunion in the woods. There was swimming, sailing, Sailor Scouts cruising with Matt Medic and Bob "Mr Trouble" the builder, the traditional mass pot-luck, campfires, drum circles, song circles and just plain jammin'. Ahhh ... Summer is now complete.

Thousands of thanks and praises to Fred and Donna for pulling together yet another amazing weekend. You guys rock! For those wanting to relive the memories, the pictures are now on our new ZeroCatch site ... because free webhosts have absurd 20M/day bandwidth caps, the same collection is also up on my Tripod site.
